Steven Sloan

Steven Sloan, 69, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on March 24, 2026.

Steven was born in Des Moines on August 13, 1956, to Wilfred and Jo Ann (Gookin) Sloan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and his dog, Finley. Steven enjoyed smoking meat, watching Judge Judy and could always go for a cold 7Up. Steven was an avid NASCAR fan and he loved family vacations.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Keely Sloan; son, Steve, his wife Kelly and their children, Dylan, Jordan, Kaitlyn and McKenzie and upcoming great-grandchild, Jace; son, Jacob, his wife Jennifer and their children, Braden and Max; son, Noah and his wife Ela; and son, Brennen and his dog Shadow; sister, Kathy Sloan; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and Mike; and his sister, Debbie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
