Steve Webb, 67, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on February 22, 2024, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Steve was born January 2, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Patricia (Quick) Walsh and the grandson of Raymond and Betty Webb.
Steve was self-employed and ran his own garage door, lawn care, and snow removal businesses. He also served in the Navy. He was the hardest-working man anyone could have ever met, working from sunrise to sunset during the seasons.
Steve enjoyed catfishing and 4-wheeling with his son and was an exceptional ping-pong player.
Steve is survived by his son, Jeremy (Deborah) Webb of Des Moines, Iowa; his daughter Anissa Brown of Des Moines, Iowa; his mother, Patricia Walsh of Ankeny, Iowa; his brother Mike of Ankeny, Iowa, his brother David (Mary Ann) Webb of Des Moines, Iowa; his brother Dan Fogarty (Sheri) of Bondurant, Iowa; his brother, Tim Fogarty of Davenport; his grandchildren Jazlene Webb, Dylan, Nathan, Hanna, and Xander.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Betty Webb, Walter Quick, and Helen Quick.
Services will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines Iowa with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, in Des Moines, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 9-10 am Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

I'll miss Steve's easy-going nature and conversation. He certainly was a hard worker, diligent and reliable. I could always count on Steve. His memory lives on in all who knew and loved him.

I want to send my condolences to the family. Steve was great and a hard working man. He always went above and beyond when taking care of our lawn and provided us with excellent lawn services for so many years. He will be truly missed by our family. My condolences to the family. Steve was a hard working, honest and decent man who provided us with lawn services for many years. He was always pleasant and took his work very seriously. He will be missed by our family.

See ya buddy me and Steve hitch hike to new Orleans to go to Mardi gra when I was 17 I think and Steve was 15 one hell of a time I got thrower in jail thank God Steve was there to get me out goin miss ya buddy

New Steve since the 70s, he was part of our Old Gang, lots of party time together, tough guy, hard working, great sense of humor when he wished, he lived a street over from my mothers house, I was friends with all his brothers, I believe he was in the Navy when I joined in 1977, he was a machinist mate, hadnt seen him in years, thats okay, Ill never forget him.
