Shirley Mae Harper

Shirley Mae Harper, 84, passed away April 6, 2025 at Regency Care Center in Norwalk, Iowa.

Shirley was born August 30, 1940 in Mindon, Iowa to Carl and Helen (Butler) Schnoor. She retired from Dahl’s Food Store after 18 years of service in the Bakery Dept. Shirley was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxillary. She enjoyed flowers, going to the Eagles Lodge and to garage sales. She always treasured time spent with her family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her brothers, Charles Schnoor, Ed (Brenda) Schnoor and Richard Schnoor; sister, Rita Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Schnoor; and her beloved husband, William Harper.

The family will greet friends Monday, April 14, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th Street. Shirley will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
