Shirley Ann Coleman, 81, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023.

Shirley was born February 20, 1942, in Centerville, Iowa to Roy and Leona Dudley.

She was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan and loved gambling at casinos. Shirley retired from James W. Bell as a secretary after 43 years of faithful service. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, John (Angie) Coleman; grandchildren, Chris Coleman, Melissa Coleman, Johnny Coleman, Steven (Sheena) Fredricksen, Josh (Taylor) Fredricksen, and Aaron (Courtni) Fredricksen; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Preston, Parker, Devyn, Hunter, Gabby, Sophia, Ronnie, Trin, Branden, Chance, Cory, Jeremiah, Carter, Mylie, Hunter, Avah, Zaidyn, Kynlee, Keegan, Kyler, Kamdyn, Kimber, Caison, and Decklan; brothers, Tom Dudley and Dean Dudley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and many special friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Coleman; and her parents, Roy and Leona Dudley.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
