Sandi Sue Ridley, daughter of Willis and Fayrene (Davis) Ellenwood, was born in Des Moines, Iowa on May 31st, 1942. She grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. Sandi raised her daughters mainly in Knoxville, Iowa and worked at a few different nursing homes as a CNA. She worked hard to give her daughters a good life and enjoyed being a Brownie leader for her youngest daughter and troop. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She moved to Florida in 2006 with her daughter, Tonna and family for a change of scenery and enjoyed her time there. They moved back to Iowa in 2016 to be with all her growing family.

Sandi died on Sunday August 27th, 2023, at the age of 81 in Newton, Iowa. Those left to honor Sandi’s Memory are her daughters, Terri Rote of Des Moines, Tammi (Casey) Ulrey of Newton, Tonna (Michael) Karr of Newton, and Tracci Hansen of Newton, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson. Also, her dear friend, Elaine Rogers and her beloved cat, Kiki.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lyle Wayne, sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Everett Faux, grandson, Antonio, and her previous beloved cat, Bonkers.

A private service for her immediate family per her request.
