Sharon Carol (Wignall) Waters, age 77, joined her beloved husband, Robert, in Heaven on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Sharon was born July 26, 1946, to Russell and Roberta Wignall in Des Moines, Iowa and was a lifelong resident of the greater Des Moines area.

She loved God, Jesus, her family, her friends, her community, her cats, and nature. She enjoyed feeding birds and squirrels, visiting with family and friends, and running her scanner group.

Sharon will be missed by her sister, Cindy (Bob); her children, Darlene, Cynthia, Robert Jr. (Mary Lou), and Russell (Renée); all of her grandchildren; and her extensive extended family. She will also be missed by her friends and scanner group members.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Roberta Wignall; and her husband, Robert Waters.

No service is planned at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for later in the year.
