Shirley was the sweetest person, so caring. She always had the first Christmas card of the season out for delivery. She was part of my extended family on my dad's side, and I have such fond memories of visits to their farm. On one visit, she pulled a tick out of my head! I called her and Richard a few months ago, and sadly she didn't remember me. My sympathies.
