Ruth Ann Seiberling

Ruth Ann Seiberling, 80, passed away December 9, 2025, at Wesley on Grand.

Ruth Ann was born December 26, 1944, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Earl and Marie Pherigo. She graduated from Ottumwa High School. On July 10, 1981, she married Richard “Dick” Seiberling. Ruth Ann had been a customer service representative for Cahaba-Blue Cross of Alabama for 45 years in which she was one of the first employees to handle Medicare claims. She retired in 2011. Ruth Ann was an animal lover.

Ruth Ann is survived by her brother, Tim Pherigo; nieces, Cindy Eatwell and Sandi Eatwell; nephew, Rob (Carol) Pherigo; and her step-children, Tina (Raymond) Mass, Rich Seiberling and Tammy (Jeremy) Soliday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Seiberling; brother, Tom Pherigo and her sister, Carolyn Lyman.
