My deepest condolences to Susana, Isabella and Alexa. It was shocking to hear of his illness and passing. I only knew Rod for a few years in the Marine Corps but his passing has left an impact on me almost 30 years later. Smart, funny, dedicated and someone you could always count on. Truly an outstanding Marine and just a great friend. It was an honor to call him my friend. Semper Fidelis.
