Robert A. Schaefer

Robert A. Schaefer, age 85, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Urbandale, Iowa. He was born on August 24, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas, and later made Iowa his home.

Robert worked for many years in the construction industry, spending his career as a project manager with Waldinger Corporation. He was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. Robert was a longtime member of Gospel Assembly Church, where his faith played a significant role in his life.

He is survived by his wife, Ladelle Schaefer, of Urbandale, Iowa, along with extended family members and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

Robert was laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines, Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at Gospel Assembly Church on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
