Richard E. Hall was born on July 24, 1955, and died on August 22, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, IA, of a short, unexpected illness.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Gloria N. (Sueverkrubbe) Hall and Wilmer E. Hall.

Richard was a huge sports fan and could give you information on everything you ever wanted to know about baseball and football, his favorites. Richard loved the Iowa State Fair and spent many hours there just people watching. He tried to never miss one. He enjoyed “crafting” and bingo games.

He was a real wisecracker in his day and could come up with some good ones when you least expected it. He loved talking and keeping in touch on the phone. He loved his Church and participated as much as he could.

He leaves behind his brother, Don Hall of Farnhamville, IA; two cousins, Cheryl Chamberlain of Minneapolis, MN, and Nancy Ellenwood of Illinois; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.
