Rhonda Lee Lincoln, 65, passed away at Altoona Nursing Home and Rehab with family by her side on January 10, 2025. She was born on June 30, 1959 to George and Barbara (Beall) Goatley in Dodge City, Kansas.

Rhonda was a graduate of Sybetha High in Kansas. She became a CNA when she was 18 and continued that career off and on until she got hurt in 2016. Rhonda also worked at Fonner Park in Grand Island, Nebraska, until moving to Iowa and working at Prairie Meadows in 1996. She went to OSU to be a Leatherman and also got her degree as a Dietitian. Rhonda was also very active in her church, First Baptist. Rhonda loved helping people cooking, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, drawing, and being with animals. Rhonda also enjoyed spreading the word around about her Savior.

Rhonda is survived by three children, Brandy (Jeramey) Espino of Mitchellville, IA, Alicia (Dan) Jeffries of Ainsworth, NE, and Tyrell (Stacey) Goatley of Des Moines, IA; a brother and sister; special nephew Matt Snyder; two grandsons, Alex (Neleh) Huerta and Lorenzo Espino; three step-granddaughters, Bella, Makayla, and Gracie; three great-grandchildren; two fur babies, Rocky and Bear; and many friends and family.

Rhonda was proceeded in death by her parents George and Barbara Goatley.

A Celebration of Life for Rhonda will take place on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church in Colfax, IA. First Baptist is located at 24 S Walnut St, Colfax, IA 50054.
