Randy Paul Carter

Randy Paul Carter, 60, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023. at University Park & Rehab. He was born May 19, 1963, to Paul Zurfluh and Joyce Carter in Des Moines.

Randy was baptized on June 2, 1963, at Lincoln Heights Lutheran Church and worked as a truck driver for various companies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

Randy is survived by his mother, Joyce Russell; sons, Randy Carter and Ronny Carter; grandchildren Nevaeh and Braydon; sisters, Melody (Rick) Weyer, Mendy (Jason) Franklin; brothers, Ronny Craig and Ricky Craig; grandfather, Merle Carter and many nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Paul Zurfluh and his grandmother, Isabel Carter.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday August 26, 2023, at Lincoln Heights Lutheran Church, 1217 Watrous Avenue, Des Moines.
