Randolph "Miles" Marshall

Randolph “Miles” Marshall, 74, passed away on October 5, 2023, at Taylor House.
Miles was born on February 14, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa to Russell and Frances (Smith) Marshall.
He was employed by Massey Ferguson for many years. He then attended DMACC and earned his AA degree. He worked for Nationwide Insurance (formerly Farmland Mutual Insurance Company) until his retirement. He enjoyed singing and swimming in the family pool. Miles liked working on cars and was very mechanical and skilled at fixing almost anything.
Miles is survived by his daughter, Sherry Magie; granddaughters, Chelsey Evans (Shawn), Sidney Evans (Zach), and Mackenzie (Tom) Price; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Olive, and Kennedy; lifetime companion, Tanya Marshall; sister, Betty Montgomery; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Frances Marshall; brother, Edward Smith; and several other brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 6567 Bloomfield Road, Des Moines, 50320.

I am so very sorry to hear of Miles' passing. I have find memories of the times we spent with Miles Tanya and Sherry when we were all very much younger. Rest in peace Miles.
