Randall Lewiston

Randall Scott Lewiston, 72, passed away on January 29, 2026 at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Randall was born on December 30, 1953 in Des Moines to Devere and Mary (Howe) Lewiston. He loved the outdoors, trees and finding rocks. He loved showing everyone the trees on his property. Randall believed that we are all one spirit. He also enjoyed staying in shape and working out. Randall loved his family and his dog Thor.

Randall is survived by his sons, Jay Lewiston and Ben (Shanda) Lewiston; mother, Mary Lewiston; brothers, Chris (Susan) Lewiston, Matt (Julie) Lewiston and Danny (Kristie) Lewiston; grandsons, Alec and Aksel Lewiston granddaughter, Halynn Lewiston; his dog, Thor; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Devere Lewiston; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Lewiston; step-son, Sean Reames; and his granddaughter, Evie Lewiston.

A celebration of Randall’s life will be held at a later date.
