Ross Allen Keller, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 14, 1982, in Des Moines, Iowa to Donald U. Keller and Brigid M. Hupke Keller. Ross had become interested in the Buddhist faith and was a member of the Ames Buddhist Mahasangha. He enjoyed visiting different Buddhist monasteries. He was a talented guitar player and liked cooking. Ross worked as a driver for DART for many years, and was most currently employed by Menards.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Don (Karen Murphy) Keller; former step-mother, Chris Keller; siblings, Ryan Hupke, Duston Keller, Dylon Keller, and Nicole (Travis) Denin; grandmother, Regina Hupke; aunt, Patty Hupke; niece Payton and nephews, Daxton and Sawyer; as well as other extended family and friends.

Ross was preceded in death by his mother, Brigid Hupke; grandmother, Ruth Stumbo; and his uncles, Joe Hupke and Curtis Keller.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2024, also at Hamilton’s.
