Patricia Ann Wheeler, 84, passed away on May 23, 2024 at Mercy Medial Center in Des Moines. She was born November 6, 1939 to Richard and Marguerite (Johnson) Ory.

Patti graduated from Des Moines Tech High School. She loved traveling, especially in their motorhome and spending time at their cabin on Lake Panorama. Patti and AC also had a home in Weslado, Texas. In the 1980’s they traveled to 48 states and Nova Scotia, Canada. Together, they owned and operated The Wheelers Outdoor Power Equipment. Patti cherished raising her children, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, AC Wheeler; children, Alan (Jill) Wheeler, Rodney (Laurie) Wheeler and Cynthia Wheeler; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of other family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Eugene Ory.

A private burial will occur a Highland Memory Gardens.
