Patricia K. Shiffer

Patricia K. Shiffer passed away on June 05, 2026, peacefully to join those she loved who left before her. She was born August 13, 1948, in Des Moines, Iowa, to her wonderful parents, Orville & Genevieve Bain. Patti graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1966 and went directly into the workforce, trying insurance, sales, computer, etc., until she found Forrest & Associates in 1987, where she continued working until retiring in August 2018.

She was a patron member of the Order of Eagles Lodge #109 and also a Raiders and NASCAR fan.

Patti hated driving the freeway, so she spent her time driving city streets, which always took her way longer to get anywhere she was headed.

Patti lived a good life with no regrets and wouldn't have traded her family or the long, life -time friendships she made along the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents Orville & Genevieve Bain and her beloved sisters Annita Tidball and Sara Brannen She is survived by her sons Michael (Stephanie) Shiffer and Ricky Shiffer, grandchildren Alishia (Jordan) Oster, Alex (Michael) Shiffer & Amber (Almina) Shiffer- Kovacevic, nephew Brian Thomas, great grandchildren Sadie, Bella, Aldon and Tayan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
