Nana Smith

Nana Smith, 80, passed away March 6, 2025 at MercyOne Medical Center.

Nana was born July 9, 1944 to Millard and Ada Ogburn in Des Moines. She graduated from Des Moines Tech in 1962. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening and landscaping. Nana loved decorating and fixing things up around her house. She was a great mother and will be remembered for always helping others.

Nana is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Seiberling and her siblings, James Ogburn and Barbara Fastnacht.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Wayne Ogburn, Betty O’Connor, Harold Ogburn and Robert Ogburn.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Glendale Cemetery.
