Marilyn Theresa Frette

Marilyn Frette, 91, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Marilyn and her twin sister Mardell were born October 26, 1933 to Clyde and Veronica Graham in Atlantic, Iowa. Marilyn married her beloved husband Lloyd in 1959 at the Basilica of St. John in Des Moines. Lloyd and Marilyn lived in Urbandale until they moved to their Waukee home in 1976. When Lloyd passed away in 2011, Marilyn moved to West Des Moines. They were long-time members of the Early Wheels of Iowa Car Club and the Iowa and National Studebaker Drivers Clubs. They enjoyed restoring and collecting Studebakers and participating in car shows and swap meets with their friends. They were also loyal Iowa Hawkeye and Cyclone fans.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Cindy Eoriatti (Kent Ehrhardt) of West Des Moines; her sister, Mardell Klingelhoets of Plymouth MN; three grandchildren, Dan (Angie) Eoriatti, Dave (Donna) Eoriatti and Christine (Matt) Beeman; and two great-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; her parents; and brother, Donald Graham.

Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed.

The family thanks the wonderful staff at MercyOne West, Arbor Springs Nursing and Suncrest Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness during Marilyn’s confinements.
