Mae Lillian Prindle, 87, passed away on January 5, 2024. She was born in Holyoke, MA. On March 16, 1936 to Hamilton and Leona LeGrice.
Mae loved God, her church family and she especially loved being a mom, grandma and great-grandma.
She is survived by her children, Robert J. (Kim) Townsend and Brenda (Wayne) Freeman; step-children, Vickie Dilts and Karen (John) Martinicky; step-daughter-in-law, Carol Prindle; grandchildren, Katie (Charles) Douglas, Teresa and Ruth Townsend, Jay (Jennifer) Prindle, Beth (Don) Mechem, Elliott Dilts, Ryan Mitchell and Eric (Mallory) Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Kyle Mechem, Bryse, Brooke and Isaac Prindle, Lillian and Quenton Mitchell, James, Ezekiel, Elizabeth and Frederick Douglas; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa with visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. the night before. Burial will take place at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Berean Assembly of God Church in loving memory of Mae. Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

I had the pleasure of working with Mae for the past few years. She was the sweetest and had the kindest soul. The residents and staff here at Harmony will miss you tremendously.

Mae loved the Lord and loved sharing the Good News. She was always kind and Loving and we had many great story telling visits. She was a good friend to my grandmother and I am sure they are together on streets of Glory worshipping together!

Mae was a beloved resident of Stonecrest Senior Apartments where she was a friend and guardian Angel to many especially Nyla. Rest in peace good and faithful servant
