My condolences to the Jacobo family. I had been praying for her everyday recently in Holy Mass, not knowing that she was close to death. I just happened to call the parish in winterset today to ask if they could tell me how she was and they told me that she passed last week.
Mariaelena gave me my first rosary and I will always be grateful for that. She never knew that I eventually became a Catholic. I use it every day and always think of her. Fidelium animae per misericordia Dei requiescant en pace.

My sincere condolences to Marie's family. I had the pleasure of meeting Marie when I took over the dietary managers position at Care Center North in Winterset. Marie worked for me for 8 years while I was the dietary manager. She was such a kind and gentle soul on top of being a dedicated, loyal and hard working staff member. I loved seeing her and visiting with her every time we would run into each other after our years of working together. She had an amazing light and it shown so brightly and was a true gift to those who knew her. She will be missed greatly. She is celebrating her homecoming with our Lord and savior and we will see her again!!
