Mark M. Carper

Mark Matthew Carper, 41, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his home in Urbandale.
Mark was born September 5, 1982, in Des Moines, Iowa to Mark S. and Sharon S. (Scott) Carper. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of IUOE Local 234.
He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Iowa Hawkeyes. He loved golf, playing guitar, heavy metal music, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Amber Carper; father, Mark Carper; his sister Nicole (Rod) Rasmussen; his four children, Nicholas Abbey, Justin Carper, Haylie Thompson, and Bonnie Carper; his two grandchildren, Myla and Ashlinn.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Carper.
There will be a celebration of life at Carper Winery, 4603 Dakota Street, Norwalk on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Mark.

Mark and I go way back to when we're about 14! Though we did not get to spend alot of time together in our adult yrs we share tons of memories! Bro you will be missed and I will keep your family in prayer!
