I worked with Lou at the Iowa Civil Rights Commission many years ago. She was a hard worker. She was quiet, helpful to everyone, and invested in providing a service to those who sought assistance from the Commission. She was an excellent employee and missed.

I will always remember how much Lou loved her family. Whenever I would run into her at a store she always had so many stories of pride to tell me about her family. She will be missed very much. May she have eternal peace and may her family find comfort in knowing how much she loved and cared for them.

Our condolences to Lou's family at this such a hard time. May her memory live strong in your hearts forever. She was very kind and always willing to help and could cook up a feast. This is the most beautiful and loving obituary I have ever read. May her spirit be with you always. Godspeed Lou..... Ray/Cathy Slack
