Larry and Nancy were my neighbors in Runnells, Iowa where they built their house. They were great neighbors and Nancy always had an apple handy to share with my horse. Sorry to see Nancy has passed as well. I think of them often and glad that they graced my life for just a short time.

Larry was my sergeant at different times many moons ago.
We were also in the original group of the Wild Pigs. My favorite memory of Larry was a club party at my house, a group of Canadian geese were out on the pond squawking. Someone went down to scare them off. Once they took off and unbeknownst to anyone, Larry pulled out a snub nose and shot one of them right out of the sky from about 100 feet. I couldn't believe it!
As I say about all of the old timers passing on from the station, we're losing a good breed of officers.
Larry was a good man.
My condolences to his family.
