Linda Warren

Linda Sue Warren, age 75, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Linda was born March 10, 1948, in Des Moines, Iowa to Bud and Eddie Warren. She worked for over twenty years for Dental Arts in Des Moines. Linda was devoted to her family and would often travel to Bettendorf to see her special cousin, Janet. Linda’s daughter, Nichole and her grandson, Gunner were her world, and her pride and joy. She enjoyed the simple things in life - sitting on her porch, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes, and visiting with family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nichole Warren; grandson, Gunner Biittner; her siblings, Kenny (Velma) Williams, Larry Williams, Boots (Karen) Warren, Kay Scott, and Greg (Dee) Warren; special cousin, Carole Raffensperger who was like a sister to her; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Eddie Warren; siblings, Meredith (Julie) Williams, Howard Williams, Sally Chase, Connie (Joe) Young, and Sharon Williams; nephew, Danny Scott; niece Julie Jones; and her special cousin, Janet Glessner who was like her sister.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by a service at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
