Dear Alice and family,
We shall sorely miss Larry. He was our good friend for years. We were fellow star gazers with him and with you, and close fellow members of the Des Moines Astronomical Society. Larry did so many things for the Society to promote astronomy and gazing into the heavens. And he was of immense help to me in the building of the Society's radio telescope. We want to stay close to you in this time of grief and the days to come after.

Deepest and most sincere condolences to Alice and the entire family who are mourning Larry's death. I will always remember Larry for the times he came by the agency and volunteered his time. He had such an infectious personality and a great sense of humor. Larry loved his family, especially Alice so much and he was just a great guy to be around. You will be missed dearly, Larry.

On behalf of all the staff members at Aging Resources, we send our sincere sympathy to Alice and all the family members at this time. For many years Larry volunteered for several of our community service activities, in particular our Holiday Meals-on-Wheels program. Larry and I were often assisting our many volunteers, out in the cold on Christmas day. Larry never complained and was a source of humor, no matter what the weather. We shared many stories over the years which I treasure. We were blessed to have Larry with us, a model of selflessness, commitment, and grace. Love and blessings to the family.
