I went to Perkins for my Christmas Day meal today. I requested Kory only to be stunned by the news of his unexpected passing. I cried through my meal. I first met him at the Eastside Perkins and found him sometime later at the Hickman location. He was an excellent server and paid attention to detail and really demonstrated care for his diners. I heard updates about his daughter. He was so proud of her.
He shared the journey about his son's cancer battle and my friend and I cried along with him.
My heart is heavy with sadness, today for his father, siblings, and most of all his daughter. Perkins will never be the same. He will truly be missed!

Terribly sad to hear of Kory’s passing. It has been decades since we have crossed paths, but there are nothing good memories of him. Deepest condolences to Kory’s family. May you feel the loving embrace of our creator and find solace that he is reunited with his dear son, mother, sister, and others who passed before him.

I'm so sorry to hear of Kory's passing. Even though we've not seen each other in years, I have so many great memories of time spent with Kory. He was an integral part of our formative years of the Coconut Castaways. And it was Kory who first brought Care Camps to our attention. He was a dear friend for many years and will be missed by so many.
