Kim Therese Frost

Kim Therese Frost, 64, passed away Wednesday December 20,2023 at Taylor House Hospice. She was born in Des Moines on May 16, 1959, the daughter of Dale and Lyla (Savage) Carnes.

Kim graduated from Ankeny High School and went on to marry Jerry C. Frost on April 22nd of 1978. Over the years, Kim dedicated her time to McDonalds and Laundry Time as a manager.

She was a dedicated mother and grandmother.

Kim was preceded in death by her late husband, Jerry C. Frost; father-in-law, Jack A. Frost; and grandchildren, Christopher F. Hoye and Allison C. Hoye.

Kim is survived by her children, Jeffery Frost and Christine (David) Hoye along with her seven loved grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Shane and Dale Carnes; and sister, Jeanie Sommars.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday December 28, 2023 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
