Joseph DiSalvo passed away on January 13, 2025.
Joseph was born on November 10, 1939, to Jinseppe and Agnes DiSalvo. He was a lifelong southsider and devoted Iowa Hawkeye Fan. Joe was an avid outdoorsman with a profound love for nature. He found joy in fishing, boating, and camping.
Joe is survived by daughter Kim Sanders; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Joe is preceded in death by parents; three sisters; and a grandson Dustin Sanders.
No services will be held for Joseph at this time. The family will do a burial of his cremated remains at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

My Uncle Joe was an amazing man and I have so many wonderful childhood memories with him, my Mom, and my Aunt Joann. He was hilarious and his dry wit was unmatched! Love to Kimmy and the family,,, prayers for you all
