I met John 31 years ago when I got hired to work at The Embassy Club. A stickler for the rules, but understanding when life happens. John was always a bit of "an older brother" figure to me. Always at the ready with a quick wit, and an understanding heart. He was never afraid to both give constructive criticism, and words of encouragement. I just found out today of his passing, and realize why he always told me to " Live my Babies". It's because you never know what tomorrow brings.
I am so sorry for your loss, and will keep everyone in my prayers.

Very sorry to just learn of this. My wife and I worked with John when we were in high school (not married at the time, seems obvious) John was a great guy and we really enjoyed working with him. Our most favorite quote of his was, “it’s fast food, not instant food.” It was said to a very angry customer about wait time. Haven’t seen him since 2004. You don’t think of the impact a person had on your life until he’s gone. He’s a legend. RIP John.
