Joel Timothy Sullivan

Joel Timothy Sullivan, 70, passed away on May 26, 2024. He was born on June 12, 1953 to his parents, Ethel and Park Sullivan in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Joel was employed at Gilcrest-Jewett Lumber Company for over 20 years. He was an avid tournament fisherman and enjoyed gardening, both flowers and vegetables.

His survivors include his daughter, Samantha (Ryan) Dempster; grandchildren, Natalie, Layla, and Quinn Dempster; former spouse, Deborah Carr; stepson, Michael (Annie) Massure and their children; siblings, Jim Sullivan, Mark (Janice) Sullivan, Kathy (Alan) Brittain, and Brian (Virginia) Sullivan; and a host of beloved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Sullivan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
