Joan E. Feight

Joan E. Feight, 89, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023.

Joan was born on September 4, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa to Edward and Ruby (Ward) Kahler.

She enjoyed doing laundry, crafts, taking photos, and her cats but above all, she loved time spent with her family.

Joan is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dwayne Feight; children, Jane “JD” (Noel) Nelson and William “Bill” (Bonnie) Feight; grandchildren, Tabitha, Daniel, Brooke, and Madison; and great-grandchild, Maci.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dorothy and Janice; and daughter, Tannera.

Funeral services will be held at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation prior, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Joan.
