Jeffrey Steven Pliler, 56, of Altoona passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was born February 21, 1968 in Joplin, MO to his parents, Steve and Gisela Pliler.

Jeff was a graduate of Bondurant-Farrar High School. His career consisted of always working with his hands. Jeff was a proud member of the Laborers and Carpenters Unions. He enjoyed coming up with projects where he could work with wood. Jeff also loved the Kansas City Chiefs, boating with friends and family, working out at the gym, and any opportunity where he could be on his Harley riding like the wind.

He is survived by sons, John Herweh and Brandon (Jennifer) Pliler; daughter, Victoria Pliler; mother, Gisela Pliler-Veatch; grandchildren, Bentley Pliler and Emery Pliler; brother, Greg (Desiree) Pliler; and nieces, Brooke Pliler and Meadow Pliler.

He was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Emery and Alexis Pliler; father, Steve Pliler; brother, Shane Pliler; and stepfather, Norman Veatch.
