Jean Marie Dillard Pease, 76, passed away April 18, 2025 at Harmony in West Des Moines.
Jean was born November 21, 1948 in Des Moines to Earl and Eugenie (Curless) Dillard. She worked as a secretary at CDS for many years. Jean and her husband Fred enjoyed traveling, and especially going to Kansas City for Thanksgiving. She also enjoyed working in her yard. Jean was a member of Fort Des Moines United Methodist Church for many years and enjoyed singing in the choir.
She is survived by her brothers, Bill Dillard and Bob Dillard; nieces and nephew, Heather Dillard, Carolyn Dillard and Steve Dillard; great-nephew, Tristan Dillard; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Pease and her parents.
The family will greet friends Thursday, April 24, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

I am so sorry to hears of Jean's passing. I was lucky enough to work at a place she volunteered at for a bit. While she volunteered we became friends, she was kind, sweet, always willing to lend a hand and taught me about growing things.
She left a wonderful impression in my life.
