Jason W. Mart
March 10, 1981 — January 13, 2024
Jason Wayne Mart, 42, of Elkhart, Iowa passed away on Saturday January 13, 2024. He was born March 10, 1981 in Des Moines to his loving parents.
Jason grew up in various areas of Polk County and graduated from Southeast Polk High School in 1999. He was currently a supervisor for Liberty Tire.
Growing up he enjoyed playing many sports and being outdoors. He was a rebel that enjoyed always living on the edge. Jason had a heart of gold and would give anyone that needed it whatever he had even his last dollar. He loved being a “cowboy”, and making people smile and laugh. He knew everyone and was loved by all. His friends could tell you stories that would make you laugh till your sides hurt for days. Please know that if he told you he loved you he did.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Rebecca Collins and Mike (Rae Ann) Mart; step-grandfather, Mike Elbert; siblings, Jerry (Kristi) Hyde, Dee (Matt) Sutherland, Jake (Melissa) Hyde, Jenniffer (Jeremiah) Allen and Kara Waters; children, JJ, Gunner, Harper, and Easton; nieces and nephews, Gabe, Abby, Dawson and Mya Hyde, Harper and Hayden Sutherland, Andrew and Tanner Willson, Kayla Scott and Sophia, and Isabella and Fennmore Waters; and his aunts, uncles and many chosen family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janice and Bob Mart and Barb and James Christensen; stepfather, Tim Collins; and brother, Adrian Mart.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Please leave your memories and condolences for the family at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com. This will help our hearts heal as we hear how much he meant to others.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Jason.

Jason, Adrian and I were all friends. Adrian lived with me for a short time, and after his accident Jason n I became closer. Jason was one of the most kindest caring and loving people Ive ever met. I had gotten myself in a situation in Mercer Mo and he drove all the way there to insure my safety and return. For this I am forever grateful, I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Big hugs and lots of love..till next time.

Jason was one of my best friends coming up and between the two of us we got in our share of tough spots. No one I'd rather have shared one hell of a coming up with than Jason mart. He was my brother and one of my best friends. Too young to have to go but he's got his little brother to look after now. Fly high and I'll see you when I get there brother. I love you
