Jacquelynne "Jackie" Valentine Larson

Jacquelynne Valentine Larson, 69, of Des Moines, passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

She was born March 9, 1956, in Des Moines to John and Marian Egenberger.

Jackie was preceded in death by her father; husband, Robert Larson; and her sister, Ginger Westrom.

She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Phelps, Charitie Schaer, and Johnna (Justin) Bonta; grandchildren, Delainey, Bobby, Chloe, Jack, Cael, and Blake; brothers, Kent Egenberger and Ed Egenberger; and her mother Marian (Vern) Dahleen.

The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Lutheran Church of Hope; 520 NW 36th Street, Ankeny. The funeral service will then be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church, with a brief Celebration of Life following the service where guests can join the family for cake and memories. Private burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery for her immediate family only after the Celebration of Life gathering.

Jackie is reunited with her loving husband, Bob, in heaven – what a blessing that they are together again.
