Jack H. Wray

Jack H. Wray, 88, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2025. Services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA. Jack will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Gardens next to his wife, Wanda.

Jack was born February 21, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa to Paul and Ivah Wray. After graduating from Johnston High School, he proudly served in the Army National Guard achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his service, Jack worked in a variety of vocations including the gas/oil, trucking, and automotive industries. He was a member of Redeemer Bible Church in Temecula, CA.

He is survived by his son, Randy and daughter-in-law, Leila of Murrieta, CA; his grandchildren, Jeremy Meyers, Talia Eborn, Nick Wray, Rachael Gamon, and Jessica Wray. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda; his sister, Janice Campbell; his son, Scott Wray; and his grandson, Joshua Wray.
