Jennis H. Young

Jennis Howard Young, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Genesis Senior Living.

Jennis was born March 13, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa to Carl and Ruth (Bunce) Young. He worked for Young’s Tree Service most of his life. Jennis loved traveling, especially to the mountains in Arizona.

He is survived by his siblings, Van Young, Carl Jerry Young, Sue Ellen Ruth, Perry Lee Young, and Clifford A. Young; niece, Carolyn Smith; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Jennis was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Young; and his siblings, Charles Young, Sr. and Vera Ingersoll.

Cremation has occurred and services will be held at a later date.
