Jamie Sue Oppenheim
November 08, 1960 — February 01, 2024
Jamie Sue Oppenheim, age 63, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Jamie was born November 8, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska to James and Sandra (Mercurio) Oppenheim.
She loved her family, especially her grandson, Devon, and opened her heart to her chosen family as well, loving them like they were her own. She enjoyed spending time with her bestie, Ellie and her family.
Jamie was known as the “Martha Stuart” of her family. She was a wonderful cook and could get a stain out of anything. She liked crocheting and was proud to have gotten her driver’s license so she could drive herself places. She enjoyed her job at the Pleasant Hill Hy-Vee and the relationships she made there.
She is survived by her daughter, Megan (Lyndsey) Ace; bonus daughter, A. J. Weyrick; grandson, Devon; best friend, Ellie; and many extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Jamie was preceded in death by parents, Sandy and Jim Oppenheim; son, Anthony Oppenheim; and brother Oppie.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Jamie.

Jamie, where do I begin? 55 years the most amazing friendship, we bickered like two old crazy ladies. I am so going to miss you just being there. I've already started to pick up the phone to call you probably to scold you in some way I thought you needed LOL. I will promise to look after your child and your grandchild. I will be so lonely without you. I know how hard this life was for you. I pray to God that you met up with your son and that the two of you fly high together for eternity. I have loved you girl for an eternity
