Jeremy LaRue

Jeremy LaRue, age 48, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Jeremy was born February 14, 1975, in Iowa City, Iowa to Jerry and Glendine (Miller) LaRue. He graduated from North High School in Des Moines. Jeremy was a fan of WWE Wrestling, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Iowa State Cyclones. Above all, his greatest love was his family. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle who loved spending time with his big extended family, especially his nieces and nephews. Jeremy had the same heart as his mom, Glendine - big, loving, and open to taking care of everyone else.

Jeremy is survived by his father, Jerry; siblings, Chasity Demaranville, Joy (Seth) Higdon, Jerry (Aracely) LaRue Jr., Stacey (Gordon) Biegger; nieces and nephews, Kaylynn (Tim) Ruhnke, John Tyler, Katheryn and Kody Demaranville, Seth Jr., Allie, Allen, Noah and Cayden Higdon, Jerry LaRue III, Alexis (Santos) Carballo, Alexander, Abby, Justin, Grace and Liam Biegger; great-nieces, Ellie and Olivia Ruhnke; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glendine; and infant sister, Heather Lynn LaRue.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
