John "Jack" Fisher

John Anthony “Jack” Fisher, age 84, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

Jack was born October 9, 1940, in Des Moines, Iowa to Clifford and Louise (Spears) Fisher. He married Marie Lynn Fisher and out of this union they had a son, Anthony Jermaine Fisher, and a daughter, Stephanie Lee.

He was a Kansas City fan… this year, but was a team hopper – who ever was winning was his team.

He is survived by his only sister, Donna McGregor; children, Julia (Haldy) Jackson, John Fisher Jr., Wanda (Michael Sr.) Carter, Terry Lee Fisher, Clifford Fisher, Deanna Richardson, Anthony (Jerrianne) Fisher, and Stephanie Lee; a host of grandchildren; and his best friend since he was nine years old, Willie “Uncle Bear” Smith.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Louise Fisher; brothers, Clifford and Thurman Fisher; and his daughter, Laura Willis.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Jack.

I loved my brother in law. I'm going to miss him. He was the best in Black Jack, Dominos, Spades and Bid Wiz. While he was kicking your butt, he talked plenty of mess and laughed in your face. We had some good times.
I will cherish the memories forever. My deepest sympathy to the Fisher family. Thanks for sharing your father with us.
