About a year after I met Jeff he came out to the house for a BBQ. Jeff always seemed like a mostly serious guy. While we were sitting talking my little red headed 2 yr old daughter came up and handed him a soccer ball. Jeff immediately jumped up and started playing with her. I was happy to see this serious man laugh and play like a child. At the same time I was worried he would step on her with his big feet. She wore him out. That was the first time my wife heard "stuck your foot in it" as a compliment. I had to tell her it was a good thing and that Jeff was on his 3rd plate of food.
