Donna Hiatt, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of John and Mable (Starkey) Hiatt on March 9, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers William Eugene Hiatt, Ronald Hiatt, and Verne Hiatt, and sister Mary Jo Taber.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW., Altoona. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 also at the funeral home followed by burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines.
