Harvey Robert Oliver, 63, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Harvey was born February 24, 1961, in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Madelyn Oliver.

He worked for many years at Barksdale’s Cookies at the Iowa State Fair, and also at Rising Sun Stables in Pleasant Hill. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and was a fan of WWE Wrestling.

He is survived by his children, Christie Baldus, Abby Armstrong, Keela Shepard, Robert Oliver, Matt Stalker, Jennifer Rice, and Landon Oliver; siblings, Randy Robbins, Harry Utley, Clifford Utley, and Kay Hernandez; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Madelyn Oliver.

Cremation will occur and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
