Glenn Nuckolls

Glenn Sigle Nuckolls, 87, died Friday, December 15, 2023 at Ramsey Village. He was born October 9, 1936 to Glenn and Florence (Held) Nuckolls in Des Moines.

Glenn attended Oak Park Elementary, Warren Harding Junior High, and North High School. He moved to Altoona in 1971 and was an over the road truck driver for American Freight Systems. He retired in 1989 with 30 years of service and was a member of the Teamsters Local 147. Glenn enjoyed travelling, camping, and family vacations throughout his life.

Glenn is survived by his daughter, Diane Hamilton; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Lana and Dave; and former spouses, Donna and Marilyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Glenn Nuckolls, Jr.; and siblings, Nellie, Florence “Toots”, and Derek.

His cremated remains will be privately interred at Altoona Cemetery.

Glenn has been a very good friend of ours for many years. We are so sad that he had to go through the tough times in his last days. He is with God now where the pain is no more! He has been fully restored. Sad his final wishes didn't go as he had planned! See you one day in Heaven Glenn!🙏
