Sorry to see of Galen's passing. He was a kind and gentle man that wore a smile every Sunday. He loved Jesus and for that your family can be thankful for one day you will see him again.

It is with deep sadness that I say good by of a wonderful man of God and a very dear friend and golf buddy. Galen has been and will always be a wonderful influence on my life. His humble spirit showed me how to not let the hard things in life become stumbling blocks in my testimony. We would speak about the Word of God while walking down the fairway on the golf course. He would example in front of us what it meant to care about the lost in the world by sharing the Gospel to anyone he would encounter on the course. He blessed me by asking me to be part of the nursing home ministry. I could go on and on as to what it meant to know and be called a friend of this wonderful man. I am so glad that we had that time together at the Iowa State Fair this year sitting together and visiting and watching the fireworks together. Marge I know that you will miss him more then anyone and I want you to know that you will always be in my prayers. And I an always only one call or text away if needed. Gods mercy and Grace and comfort be with you throughout this time. And may His peace surround you at all times. Love Tom
