On March 23, 2024, surrounded by her devoted family, Emma Carolina Medina Clamens, age 7, peacefully departed at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Born to Edinson Medina Garcia and Gisela Clamens Guanipa on September 5, 2016, in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, Emma brought boundless joy and love to all who knew her.

Emma's vibrant spirit illuminated every room she entered, filling our lives with laughter, love, and endless warmth. A vivacious second-grader, she adored school and cherished every moment spent with her classmates. Emma's determination to return to her studies was a testament to her unwavering enthusiasm for living and learning.

Her days were filled with an array of passions and interests, from dancing and gymnastics to swimming and drama. Emma loved baking cakes and cookies, which always put a smile on her family's faces. She couldn't resist eating tasty snacks like her favourite tequeños and her go-to Friday night pepperoni pizza.

Emma's love extended even further as she showered affection on her little brother, Eduardo Paúl, ensuring his happiness and well-being with every tender gesture. With a heart as pure as her love for sparkles, rainbows, and unicorns, Emma's presence radiated joy and happiness wherever she went.

Her adoration for Disney princesses, particularly Ariel, Elsa, and Anna, knew no bounds, and her recent visit to Disney brought her immeasurable joy as she met her favourite characters in person. Emma will forever be remembered as our eternal princess, her spirit shining brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.

Emma leaves behind her loving parents, Edinson and Gisela; her cherished brother, Eduardo; devoted maternal grandparents, Jesus Clamens and Gisela Guanipa De Clamens; caring paternal grandparents, Edinson Medina and Yury De Medina; beloved aunts and uncles, Eunice Medina, Juranny Viera, and Cesar Clamens; adored cousins, Diego and Christian, and a multitude of family and friends who were touched by her boundless love.
