Eric Scott Andrews, age 46, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Eric was born October 24, 1978, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Rick and Suzanne Andrews. After graduating from Iowa School for the Deaf, he entered the construction trade and worked as a carpenter, most recently for Premier Construction Services in Des Moines. Eric had a huge heart and would do anything for anybody. He was helpful to his family around the house and was single-minded when it came to home projects and repair work. Eric enjoyed playing video games, especially Call of Duty. He loved music and would turn it up loud so he could feel the vibrations. Eric was a talented portrait artist and enjoyed doing pencil drawings. He had a great sense of humor, loved his jokes, and making other people laugh.

He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Worthington, EricaMarie Andrews, and Arkadia Andrews; mother, Suzanne Andrews; father, Rick Andrews; brother, Jared Andrews; and his three nephews, Jayden, Maverick, and Jaxton Andrews.

There will be a celebration of life at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. The day and time are currently pending. Please check back for more details.
