Duncan Bacon

Duncan Eric Bacon, 64, was born March 11, 1959, the son of Loren and Sharron (Sheley) Bacon. He passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Duncan loved to fish and was an Avid Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed gambling and his scratch tickets. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family, especially playing with his grandchildren.

Duncan is survived by his daughters, Jessica James-Rotole and Jodi (Jason) Feldman; grandchildren, Adilyn, Aiden, Ashton, Kaiden, Linken, Talon, Jase and Hazel; mother, Sharron Bacon; siblings, Debbie (Gary) Osterkamp, Darryl Bacon and Deanna Bacon; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Loren Bacon; his brother, Donny Bacon; his sister, Denise Bacon; and his favorite furry four-legged friend - his dog Webby.
Cremation has occurred and private services will be held at a later date.

Heartfelt condolences to his family. I will always remember the crazy silly fun times we had in high school. He was the majority of the girls heartthrob and heartbreaker. May he rest in peace and his family have peace to.
